Materials & Construction

Longitudinal Fiberglass Shaft Construction

This construction uses fiberglass fibers aligned lengthwise along the shaft to maximize strength, flex consistency, and durability. This alignment lets the shaft bend smoothly and predictably under load while resisting fatigue and failure. The balanced flex profile feels responsive and forgiving on each stroke. It is ideal for long days and variable river conditions.

X-Weave / Shockwave Shaft Reinforcement

This shaft reinforcement wraps the shaft with fiberglass and carbon fibers in an X-pattern or zig-zag. It increases strength and responsiveness for more efficient strokes while maintaining a smooth, joint-friendly flex. The result is a durable oar that feels powerful without being harsh.

Tite-Set Blade Lock System

The Tite-Set Blade Lock creates a secure, fail-safe connection between shaft and blade. It eliminates rattle, prevents loosening, and allows easy blade changes when needed.

Rope Wrap & Rubber Stop

A rope wrap with a rubber stop protects the shaft at the oarlock contact point while improving balance and control. The stop prevents the oar from slipping through the oarlock when released, keeping your oar secure and within reach. This setup reduces wear and maintains consistent performance over time.

    Oar shafts

these things have been my tool of choice for 7 years. They are durable, the lamination lasts, and they are durable. As a pro, these are the best.
