Description & Features
Sawyer Small Stealth Oar (SST) – One-Piece is built for anglers and recreational rowers using small watercraft. It delivers quiet, efficient propulsion, dependable durability, and responsive handling. This makes it a reliable choice for prams, pontoon boats, small fishing cats, and other compact fishing craft.
Built with a reinforced fiberglass shaft and molded CFRT (Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic) blade, the Small Stealth Oar provides an excellent balance of strength, weight, and responsiveness. The durable construction stands up to repeated use while maintaining a smooth feel that makes precise boat control easier on lakes, rivers, and slow-moving water.
Sold individually. Shoal-cut blades have a left or right orientation due to the spoon-shaped blade design. We recommend ordering in pairs. If ordering a single shoal blade, please specify left or right in the order comments.

Why Choose the Sawyer Small Stealth Oar (SST)?
The one-piece Small Stealth Oar offers maximum simplicity and rigidity for dedicated small craft fishing boats. Its reinforced fiberglass shaft and durable CFRT blade deliver smooth, efficient rowing with minimal maintenance. Available with either a straight or shoal-cut blade, it provides excellent control for anglers who want dependable performance in a lightweight package.
Materials & Construction
Fiberglass Composite Construction
The fiberglass shaft provides an excellent balance of stiffness, durability, and manageable weight. It flexes naturally under load to reduce fatigue while remaining strong enough for repeated rowing in freshwater environments.
CFRT Blade with Carbon Fiber Reinforcement
The molded CFRT blade combines continuous fiber reinforcement with a durable thermoplastic matrix for exceptional toughness. The spoon-shaped design improves water catch and efficiency, allowing smooth, controlled strokes with less wasted effort.
Foam Grip & Blade Options
A black vinyl foam grip provides comfort and a secure hold in wet conditions. Choose between a versatile straight blade or a shoal-cut blade for quiet sculling and improved maneuverability in shallow water. Shoal-cut blades are directional and should be ordered as left and right pairs for optimal performance.
