Description & Features
Each Sawyer Legacy SquareTop Dyno X Oar features hand-burned artwork by artist and river guide Ian Gannon, with every set individually created and no two exactly alike. Built on Sawyer’s trusted Dyno X SquareTop platform and backed by over five decades of craftsmanship since 1967, only two of each design will be made—making these oars rare collector pieces rooted in river culture and heritage.
The carbon fiber X-Weave fiberglass reinforced shaft delivers a more forgiving flex than full carbon, helping reduce fatigue and joint strain while maintaining strength. While fully functional and river-ready, this Legacy oar is intentionally designed to be displayed, admired, and preserved as a piece of functional heritage art. A portion of each sale supports fire recovery and river restoration efforts.
