Ian Gannon is a multidisciplinary artist hailing from the mountains of Colorado. His creative journey began at a young age and has evolved into a lifelong passion for visual expression and the natural world. From psychedelic acrylic paintings to realistic wildlife depictions burned into wood, his work celebrates the interconnectedness of all life.

Ian’s art draws deeply from his surroundings—mountains, forests, and the ever-changing flow of rivers. His wood-burned artwork reflects both patience and precision, combining organic textures with the raw energy of flame and grain. Life on the River

Born into a family of outdoor enthusiasts, rafting was an integral part of Ian’s childhood. That early bond with rivers continues to guide his life today. When he’s not creating art, Ian shares wild places with others as a river guide in Southern Oregon and Northern California. This dual life—between the water and the studio—fuels his creative process, keeping his art grounded in experience and purpose.
