Sawyer Molded Oar Pro-Tip Kit provides everything needed to restore worn or damaged oar blade tips with long-lasting protection. Each kit includes a pre-formed molded Pro-Tip reinforced with Dynel® and Kevlar®, the complete SilverTip Epoxy Kit, and nitrile gloves for a professional-quality repair.

Designed for easy at-home repairs, the molded Pro-Tip restores the leading edge of your oar while improving abrasion resistance in rocky rivers and shallow water. The included SilverTip Epoxy Kit contains 4 oz Part A Resin, 2 oz Part B Fast Hardener, and 8 oz of Cab-O-Sil Epoxy Thickener, providing everything needed to create a strong, non-sag adhesive for bonding and filling during installation. Available in Narrow, Wide, and Shoal Cut profiles, the kit fits a variety of Sawyer oar blade styles.

Choose a single or pair of molded Pro-Tips. Deluxe Kits also include the Sawyer Spar Varnish Kit for sealing and protecting the finished repair. Follow the included epoxy mixing instructions for best results.

The molded Pro-Tip is manufactured from a composite of Dynel® and Kevlar®, combining outstanding abrasion resistance with impact durability for demanding river environments. The pre-formed design simplifies installation while restoring the blade's original profile.

The included SilverTip Epoxy Kit provides everything needed to permanently bond the molded Pro-Tip to your oar. The kit includes 4 oz Part A Resin, 2 oz Part B Fast Hardener, and 8 oz of Cab-O-Sil Epoxy Thickener. Cab-O-Sil transforms the epoxy into a non-sag adhesive that fills gaps, creates smooth fillets, and forms a strong, durable bond between the Pro-Tip and the oar blade.
