Meet Kelly

Kelly began volunteering with nonprofit organizations and adaptive recreation programs at age 12 as a junior guide and lifeguard. While attending college, she worked as a lead guide for the UNLV Outdoor Adventures Program and the City of Las Vegas Adaptive Recreation Program.

During her summers away from school, Kelly worked as a Class V guide and guide school instructor for Whitewater Voyages. She later became runner-up on the first season of CBS Survivor and hosted Celebrity Adventures, an adventure travel television series that took celebrities on extreme adventures around the world.

Kelly has traveled and worked in more than 28 countries and continues to work in front of and behind the camera as a host, writer, and producer. When she is not traveling or running rivers, she lives in Northern California with her son, Rio, and continues to volunteer as a guide, mentor, and disaster relief first responder.

“Rivers, travel, service, and adventure have shaped Kelly’s life on and off the water.”
