Collier is an avid river runner and outfitter based in Hood River, Oregon. You can often find him on the water - in a kayak, on a SUP, or running rapids in his trusty cataraft. In the spring, Zach competes in the Western Whitewater Championship Series and regularly beats out the competition at the Upper Wind River Festival and the Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival. Zach owns and operates Northwest Rafting Company (NWRC), which offers trips in Oregon and Washington, as well as Chile, Siberia, and Bhutan. Every year, Sawyer sponsors NWRC's Whitewater Rowing Schools, where students are taught to row catarafts and oar rafts by Zach's crew of professionally trained river guides.
